You are correct Nishantha, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) has issued the results of a study in 2018 on the job challenges ahead as commercial aviation faces the highest period of growth in its history (before the pandemic). The airline industry presently experiences an annual staff turnover of 20% in ground operations, 18% in customer services & cabin crew. These are all jobs requiring considerable training time and expense hence it is a challenge to retain best talent with your airline.
